Urinary Tract Infection (UTI) Antibiotic Treatment
Urinary Tract Infection (UTI)
Do you think you may have a bladder infection? Symptoms include:
Pain or burning when passing urine
Needing to urinate often
Discomfort on the pelvic area
Needing to urinate urgently
If you are a woman aged from 16 to 65 and not pregnant you may be able to obtain a course of the antibiotics from your pharmacist after a consultation. A fee of $35 will apply to the consultation and supply of this medication if appropriate for your symptoms and medical history.
No appointment necessary.
A Urinary Tract Infection (UTIs) is a reasonably harmless, though painful, condition that many people are too embarrassed to get help for. In some cases ignoring the pain and discomfort can lead to serious complications so it’s important to get it checked out.
