Our qualified staff can carry out a consultation with you or your child if you have a sore throat.
The Early Care assessment includes a swab for strep throat and provision of a medical certificate if required. A supply of antibiotics and/or pain relief may be prescribed if appropriate.
Eligibility and cost
You must be 12+ years of age.
$45 per consultation - plus cost of associated medicines.
During the screening, a trained pharmacist evaluates symptoms and may conduct a simple swab test to check for infections such as strep throat. Based on the results, the pharmacist provides personalised advice, and if necessary, refers patients for further medical care. This service helps individuals receive timely care and support for managing sore throat symptoms.
